For nurses: Do you think Arizona is better for people with allergies to pollen, dust, dander (cat) than CA?

I have suffered for years with allergies, took shots and am on Polaramine 6mg. twice a day in the Spring especially! Also i do see an allergist once a year for an evaluation.

Arizona used to be until they started planting all those exotic trees and flowers. Now it is doubtful
Reply:The dry heat is good for allergies. If you move away from where you are you are moving away of things you are allergic. The problem is that over time a lot of people develop allergies to things that grow in Arizona. For example although not native to Arizona, olive trees planted for their beauty and many people develop allergy to their pollen. As for cats try to get a non-allergic breed (those bald cats, don't know the name) would be OK. Non-allergic dogs are poodles
Reply:I think that was for those with east coast tree allergies but with plains grass pollen and smog pollution, I think that "but it's a DRY heat," is all that can be helpful.
