Is there a weed that looks very similar to lavender?

Our backyard is full of it %26amp; I'd smell it to check but I have allergies (it's pollen central out there right now)...I'm hoping it's lavender.

Take a stem and wash it before sniffing.....you can even use mild soap. Hope it's lavender!
Reply:Salvia looks a bit like lavender but it doesn't smell the same - but are you sure you aren't allergic to lavender as well?

My husband is allergic to it and we had to remove all of ours. :o(

Reply:Rosemary and lavender look similar. My lavender already has shot up buds (i live in zone 7) . But the idea to wash anfd sniff is a great idea!!
