Why do bees and wasps fly close to buildings?

There's all that open space with air everywhere and they tend to hang around doors and windows.

This goes for flies too.

I've also seen them in places where flowers and pollen isn't present. Like on concrete poolsides.

probly becosue their nest is their or looking for a place to place a nest
Reply:They are probably wasps, not bees, who eat bugs not pollen and are attracted to areas where their dinner is located.
