Is it possible that my kitten has allergies?

Is it possible that my kitten has spring allergies, like humans? He seems to be sneezing recently, but it wasn't until he was hanging out by open windows (don't worry the windows are only open when I can watch him and make sure he is safe!!!)...could it be allergies?? I know I have an allergy to pollen, maybe he does to?

Reply:Yes, indeed. The best thing to do would be to take a good look at the ingredients of the food your kitty is eating and start to eliminate things. Allergies from food usually stem from grain products, so start there. It could, however, be outdoor allergies, too... If your kitty is an outside as well as inside kitty, you'll have to watch the allergen reports on the news and what not and pay attention to how your kitty responds to being outside and correlate that to the allergens in the air.
