Do all flowers have Pollen in them?

?????

Do all flowers have Pollen in them?
Not necessarily. In some plants, male and female flowers are produced, so the female flowers wouldn't produce any pollen. In some plant species, there are separate male and female plants (holly, ginkgo).
Reply:Pollen grains are produced in the anthers. Some plants produce male and female flowers on different plants eg nutmeg, papaya etc. The female plants do not produce anthers so there are no pollen grains in the flowers of the female plants. Some plants produce male and female flowers on the same plant but they are produced separately. These female flowers are without the pollen grains. Almost all other plants which produce flowers with both the male and female organs in the same flower produce pollen grains. Some plants cannot produce viable pollen grains they are male sterile plants which are used by the geneticists for conducting genetics experiments.
Reply:I don't think so... I think some flowers emminate seeds and thus life continues... but I truly cannot say for sure...good question... considering that bees are rapidly disappearing!
Reply:male flowers or flowers with male parts...pollens are the male parts...like sperms...
Reply:i think so
