Does the stigma of a plant produce pollen?

The anthers (male) produce the pollen and the stigma (female) receives it.

Does the stigma of a plant produce pollen?
Stigma is the part of female reproductive organ of the plant. Pollengrains are produced by the anther and they are received by the stigma where they are allowed to germinate and produce pollen tube. The stigma has sticky surface which adheres the pollen grains to itself.
Reply:Stigma cannot produce pollen as it is a part of female reproductive system in plants ,the anthers produce it.
