Yes, cats certainly can suffer from allergies to just about anything.

Since he is lethargic, I recommend you call your vet. It may be more than just an allergy. Even if it is an allergy, he can really be suffering with it and they can give medication to help.

Other things to notice to report to your vet when you call -- Is he eating normally? Is he hiding? Is he sneezing/coughing? Is there discharge from his eyes or nose and if so, is it clear or colored?
Reply:Please take kitty to the vet any change in behavior can be serious as cats dont show pain.
Reply:Yes all animals can suffer from allergies just like we do
Reply:are your sure she is not pregnant? She's acting like she about to have kittens.
Reply:Yes, they can. I would be worried about the lethargy and seeking of quiet places, because there are other, quite serious, problems which can cause this behaviour. Your cat could have a serious infection, or have eaten something toxic. Take her to the vet immediately, or to your local animal shelter; the sooner she gets professional help, the better her chances are. Good luck.
Reply:Yes my indoor cats are really sneezing and have eyes that are watering. I use an air purifier and that seems to help. Your cat may have other things going on with it if it is lethargic. I would take it to the vet for a check up.
