Can an allergy to pollen make you feel exhausted?

dcb: Allergy to anything can make you feel whipped over time. Before I was properly diagnosed with allergy, I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome. I was so tired I could barely drag through the day, much less chase after 2 small children. Lucky for me I didn't stand for that diagnosis, and I went to another doctor who took the time to listen to all my symptoms, have me keep track of them, and then did testing. Turns out my problem was not chronic fatigue, but it was uncontrolled allergy. Once my allergies were under control I was full of energy and have been that way for over 20 years. I keep my allergies under control with environmental measures and no longer take meds.....and I feel so good! So take control of your own allergies and once you are in control you are going to have so much energy and feel so good! Hang in there....you can do this!

Can an allergy to pollen make you feel exhausted?
Yes, mold and pollen allergies are the standard allergies that cause fatigue.

Allergy medicines can unfortunately also cause fatigue...but if you take them on a regular basis this side effect subsides. Be wary about which allergy medications you choose to take if you do go that route, as all do have side effects. Its best to book an appointment with an allergenist in attempting to treat your specific allergies. If youre willing to put the time in and wait for results in a few years, I recommend allergy shots. Theyre working for me in curing my allergies to dustmites pollens and animals
