When a pollen grain land on a stigma what does it begin to grow? 10 POINTS TO FIRST ACCURATE RESPONSE!!!!!!?

When the pollen grain first lands on the stigma it grows a POLLEN TUBE. The pollen tube grows down through the style to the ovary. The nucleus of the pollen grain then passes down the pollen tube to the ovary where it will fuse with the nucleus of the female sex cell, the ovule.

The fertilised ovule then develops into a seed and the ovary wall swells and develops into a fruit.

Hope this helps!

it lands on the stigma and germinates to form a POLLEN TUBE so it can travel down the style and germinates the ovule to form a seed and then a fruit will grow with the ovary and surrounding tissue.
Reply:IT BEGINS TO GROW A FRUIT within the flower once it makes its way to the flower's ovary
