Can pollen kill people?

Does toxic pollen exist?

Can pollen allergy cause an anaphilactic reaction bad enough to kill someone?

Can pollen kill people?
A person reacting so bad towards pollen that they suffer an anaphylactic shock could die from it, yes.

But in the case of an allergy, it is not the pollen that kills, it is the body's misguided reaction towards an otherwise perfectly harmless trigger substance.

Related, but different: Many moulds release spores that are highly toxic. A person exposed to high concentrations of these over a longer period of time could die from that.
Reply:It might good question!!!
Reply:if you are allergic it can cause severe damage, death is possible, but i don't think there is such a thing as 'killer pollen'
Reply:i dont think it has ever happened before but technically it is possible for some one to go into anaphalactic shock if they have a bag enough of an allergy to pollen
Reply:In a worst case allergy reaction, yes. ~
Reply:no, or we would all be dead by now!
Reply:Some person may have such a severe allergy that it could, but it would be a rare case.
