Does EVERY window A/C filter out pollen and outdoor allergens?

I have an LG 800 BTU..brand new, but ever since I started using it I've been noticing allergic symptoms in my room (like burning eyes, etc). I thought all air conditioners helped filter out pollen and stuff (I'm only allergic to pollen). If not, is there something I can buy like a replacement filter that will do a better job?

They do have heppa filters. Check a place like Lowes or Home Depot.

Reply:No they do not. You will have to purchase a filter that does or buy an air purifier.
