Can common allergies in children, such as pollen, dust, etc. cause the child to run a mild fever?

My preschool age son has allergies and seems to run a low fever--99.6 --every week or so.

Can common allergies in children, such as pollen, dust, etc. cause the child to run a mild fever?
Low fever can be caused because of allergies, but there should be other symptoms associated with it also, like cold, urticaria or rash, asthamatic condition, wheezing, congestion, watery eyes etc. A slow mild fever alone, cannot be a percursor to allergy diagnosis. Better investigate it pathologically. Have blood samples tested for other likelyhood infections.
Reply:probably, if they're in contact with what they're allergic to
