Do lilies contain pollen?

Yes, lily blooms as do most blooms, contain pollen.

Do lilies contain pollen?
They sure do. They are located on the male part of the flower, on the structure called the Anther (which is part of the Stamen). The female parts, if you're wondering is called the stigma and style

Hopefully this link works for you!

Cheers!

I should add though, some species of flower have separate female and male flower so you would only find the stamens on the male flowers and the stigma and style on the female flowers. I think MOST lilies have both sexes on every flower - as far as I know anyway.....
Reply:Yes, and it's common for florists to cut off the pollen bearing parts when you buy lilies, because the pollen can stain clothes and furnishings really badly.
Reply:yes and they produce alot and make a really big mess. they will stain your clothes and any thing else they come in contact with
Reply:Yes they do. The stamens in the center of the flowers contain reddish brown pollen that will stain your skin or clothing if you get it on you, or accidently brush against them That is why if you buy lilies at a florist, they have removed the stamens.

There are some new hybrid lilies that have no stamens.
Reply:Of course they do. I can't think of many more flowers where the pollen is more blatently visible.
