Is bee pollen a herb?

I'm going to do a proceedure which forbids me to intake any herbs. I have been eating bee pollen. Just want to know if I messed up.

Is bee pollen a herb?
I'm guessing since the bee does add his deal in all this everything changes to pure energy (so your safe).
Reply:No. An herb is a living plant, and bee pollen is not a living plant.

But I still wouldn't take it, because it IS a supplement and it can still interfere with your body the same way herbs can.
Reply:Bee pollen is actually not made by the bees, it's the pollen the bees pick up when they go from flower to flower in search of nectar. Stricktly speaking, it's not an herb; but you'd be wise to stop using it until after the test.
Reply:It's Honey, Pollen and various Fungi and Bacteria. No herbs
Reply:Bee pollen is the pollen taaken from plants used to make honey. I doubt that in any sense it would be considered an herb but i would ask your doctor just to be sure. And in the future, if your not sure DONT DO IT
Reply:The people performing the procedure should answer that. I would say it probably would not hurt you but I don't know what they meant.
Reply:eat lotz of pollen its the best food on planet 32 minerals and vitiams you can basicaly live on the stuff it could be part herb dependent on where the bees collected it.
