Have you ever seen a wildflower with shiny silver pollen things?

In Riverside Co. CA, I saw some flowers growing on a hill. They had shiny silver pollen things, like aluminum foil. The flowers were small. I don't remember what color the flower was or what the plant or leaf looked like, I just remember the silver pollen things. The plant was about 3 to 6 inches tall. I have looked in the "Rare and Endangered" plant lists on every web site I could find. I went back every spring but I haven't seen them since. People drive their trucks up that hill to show off. They killed the wildflower patch.

I remember when I was a boy; I happened upon a bog area that had hundreds of beautiful wild orchids. A road was cut through the area by dumping rocks and gravel. The road is never used and the orchids are gone.
Reply:no i never have...have no idea what you're talking about..
Reply:No I haven't but you might try asking a florist. OR a greenhouse specialist...maybe at a local Home Depot or Lowe's some place big where the selection of plants are many. GOOD LUCK hope I helped.
